The III Galician Wine Competition took take place in Łancut (Poland) on June 20-21 2013. The GalicjaVitis Competition is the first fully professional international wine competition held in Poland on such a large scale. Both the organisation and the level of presented wines were highly appreciated by the judges. See the results
The III Galician Wine Competition will take place in Łancut (Poland) on June 20-21 2013. Close to 300 wines will take part to the competition. The participating wineries come from Poland, Slovakia, Italy, Hungary, Czech Republic, Georgia, France and USA.
On June 21-23 2013 the Galician Wine Festival will take place in Rzeszów (Poland).

The OIV presents the 2013 statistical report on world vitiviniculture at the 36th World Congress of Vine and Wine. In 2012, world wine production was 252 million hectolitres. This fall in available wine has resulted in higher prices in the least expensive wine categories, along with a reduction in bulk wine exports". Read more
